Pro. Rangappa received the scholarship award



The IBSR Annual Meeting held at the Indian Institute of Petroleum in recognition of Professor Rangappa’s research in chemical biology and medicinal chemistry received the Fellowship Award. The scholarship certificate and commemoration was awarded to Professor KSRangappa, a chemist from Karnataka, at the BRSI annual meeting held at CSIR – Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. Professor Rangappa has been selected as a Fellow of the Biotech Research Society, India (BRSI) 2021. This scholarship is awarded to Indian scientists in recognition of their significant contributions to research in the scientific field. Assessments of the number of published research articles, patents, global references, international recognition and parameters are taken into account in this process. Professor Rangappa not only meets all the research criteria defined by the IBSR, but also ranks first out of the eighty scientists in the competition. BRSI is a research company founded to train young scientists and recognize the contributions of their seasoned scientists to science and society. Professor Sudhir Sopori (Indian academician, scientist and former vice-chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi) is the president of this society. Renowned scientists such as Professor Tej Pal Singh (Renowned Professor, AIIMS, New Delhi) are on the board. It can be recalled that Professor Rangappa has regularly ranked in the top 2% of world scientists since 2019.
